The Western Gulls are the two leftmost birds in the water; the other gulls in this photo are California Gulls. Both species are incredibly striking. Just look at those dark eyes, radiant yellow bills, and dark-gray backs. There is so much to gull-watching and identifying gulls, and the more I learn about gulls, the more I am hooked on observing them :)
