fractal broccoli

My wife loves to garden but I was surprised when she brought home this Romanesco broccoli not from the yard but from her school. Another math teacher had sent it to her math department and she brought it to me to see if I could photograph the mathmatical fractal shapes that cover the the surface. This image is what I came up with.

other sizes: small medium large original auto

Looks yummy to me, fractal or not! Good capture - colours and exposure are spot on, lovely contrast between the green and black.
