This little kid went past me into the covered bridge just as I was coming out. I mentioned to him that there was some kind of ghost further down the bridge.
He stopped in mid-stride and looked at me and asked "Some kind of ghost?" I laughed and said I was just kidding.
He kinda glared at me and took off down the rest of the bridge. Mom was not far behind.
