You Ate What?????

Chocoladehagel and Dutch Muisjes

My mother is from The Netherlands and would frequently make us a Dutch sandwich
for our school lunches. My younger cousin was sent home from school with a note
as her teacher did not think that was a proper lunch to which my aunt replied
"It is for Dutch children!"

This is a sweet gift from some of my cousins who live in Groningen. It just arrived
today and I do not have any bread in the house. Whole wheat crackers are yummy with
these toppings too!

the "muisjes" would have been difficult to eat from the cracker, going everywhere except into the mouth :-)
what a nice present to receive, enjoy!

Looks good but never heard of it, but of course I am not Dutch. LOL

I've never seen anything like it, but they say "everything is good on a Triscuit" in the commercial. Very interesting story, thank you for sharing!

Reminds me of condensed milk sandwiches we ate as children.
