Low Bridge! Everybody Down!

Hurricane Sandy (or her remnants) dropped a lot of rain in our area.
There was enough of a flooding concern that the Erie Canal floodgates
were lowered (I've never seen this happen before but I've only lived
next to the canal for the last 6 years.)

Beautiful job and it is the first I've ever seen them down but I bet they were down when the wall blew out of the canal between there and Bushnell Basin a few years back.
