Day 28 - Round House

A woman that I know recently built a round house. Supposedly they are very energy efficient though I've not researched it to know for certain.

Today was very overcast and at times rainy (a blessing as we are in the middle of a drought). Very difficult to get the photo that I wanted.

Great photo Brenda!

Connecticut has some Octagonal houses built in the mid 1800s when some people thought they we healthier! I took a photo of the one in Portland. Someday I should make it a project to see the others.

You did excellent work in that light. I think I would get dizzy if I lived in that house. V

You can't go stand in a corner in that house. I love it. So interesting. And, you are doing good things so you must do your work first. We understand. I have gotten behind this month as well.

Hey ... getting the rain is more important than getting the sky you want.

An interesting round house, and a nice contribution to the challenge. They do make for interesting interiors.
No worries about the commenting, you are doing important work. Blessings to you for doing this!

I had some friends that lived in one of these when I was growing up. Interesting interior layouts.

Interesting - I have seen a few round houses - also seen some round high rise apartment buildings too with a single apartment on each floor. The lift / elevator takes up the centre space there.
Don't worry about commenting - I'm not fussed about you 'having' to come visit. I've enjoyed your photos.

It must be difficult to place furniture in a round house! Neat and creative image for the Challenge!
Philly also has a round house ~ it's where they take prisoners for arraignment.....

I miss the solar panels on the roof if you build sustainability
I do recognise from my work in the Netherlands as a social worker the kind of work your are doing Brenda
look in the mirror an tell yourself that you have done a great job
write it down and read it out loud.
From me all my support and empathy for the work you are doing!
