I looked at these two boxes in the hardware store and they looked strikingly similar.
I picked them up and found they were exactly the same size. I looked on the backs and
they each had the same model number. So there were three differences: 1) one was
yellow and one was red; 2) they had different brand names; and 3) one cost $5 MORE
than the other.

I don't think the color played a role here! Consider that the less expense box
was still bringing a profit. I prefer yellow over red here, but if I were to buy
one (I didn't) I would have gone with red.
