If you only had one camera, would you choose Fuji XE3 or Olympus EM-5II.
I want to reduce down to one simple camera system.

Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark II

other sizes: small medium large original auto

So you're saying that a Hasselblad H6D-100c is out of the question?
Nice arrangement of riders at this station.

Nice scene, if I travelled like you I'd change too.

Always a difficult decision. Last year I decided to change to a smaller size and got a Leica CL with 18-56mm and although I also got the 55-135, IO rarely use it.

The camera used to capture this image has done an excellent job but that won't help with your decision Bill.

Well composed image. Like you, I would like to get down to something small, but I have no idea what. So I will watch and see what you decide on and how it goes. V

Hard one. For me it comes down to two competing issues:
- On the one hand the sensor on the Fuji is APS-C while the Olympus is MFT. The reality is that size beats cleverness when it comes to low light performance and noise; it's an unavoidable reality of physics. The low light noise of my EM-1 is a perpetual pain in my backside.
- On the other, because the MFT mount is not tied to one brand you will always have a wider choice of glass... and some of the Oly lenses are beyond damn fine lenses.

My thoughts have been drifting to full frame mirrorless, if the size and price are right. On which point, the Fuji is slightly smaller, which is good since it gives you more flexibility and ease of carrying / use.

If I had both, I'd probably drift to the Fuji for physical size and sensor size. The lens selection may be smaller, but it's not like it's actually small.

A great train station scene. I don't know anything about those cameras. I'm aiming for the Nikon Z6 eventually to lighten the load when traveling. Hope you will find some users of these two.
