In the good old days, the General Post Office (GPO) used to provide a national postal service and later also ran the first telephone service in the UK.
Today, very few people send traditional letters. But I am waiting for a 'phone line to be connected.
Not that I want to use a 'phone but I need the line for internet access. All very slow to be connected, so I am seeing red.
