I liked this old tree in what remains of an ancient hedgerow.
It stands in an exposed position and that must explain its shape.

You've set me to wondering how old it is. But on the other hand with a temperature of 30 degrees and humidity above 90% today I barely got past the words "crisp, winter day" in the link.
I do like the transition in colour from golden brown at the bottom to a deep, cold blue at the top.
