DB stands for Deutsche Bahn, which is the German railway company.
There used to be a time that the trains in Britain were made in this country, and run by British companies.
What ever happened to BR which used to stand for British Rail ?!
Please note, I have absolutely nothing against Germany or German people.
I just wish the UK had as much national pride as some of our European friends, and the trains were as punctual as in Germany :)
