Pizza

I have been experimenting with homemade pizza.
The stuff you buy is always too thick based, doughy and stodgy.
I am almost there. Thin, cripsy base cooked on a pizza stone in a hot oven.
However, I still add too much topping. I need to practice restraint.

I have the same problem with too much topping! Do you put a very thin layer of olive oil over the dough before you add the toppings? It helps keep it from getting soggy.

I don't know it looks very good to me. Making me even more hungry for pizza. Yesterday I went to one of my favorite pizzerias in the city and it was closed for Memorial Day. I am not complaining since I only have to give up pizza for the day and so many others gave much much more.
