African Beer

No, it's not Castle, Mosi, Rhino, Tuskers or even Kilimanjaro, but it is the people's beer. Chibuku is the commercial variety that is consumed all over, like Budweiser in the US, Canada and Europe. Thanks to my friend Amy (Mols) and her significant other, Jesse, for these initial photos. They're all neat shots and it is hard to decide which should be the gallery representative. If you have an opinion, let me know.

Over the next few weeks, I'll be putting up pictures of the African microbrew varieties, some of my own African beer home brew, and illustrated recipes on how to make your own. First step, go find a gourd that will hold at least a gallon. Stay tuned.
