I'm going to miss all the flowers you shared, and your words of wisdom, and help. RIP Barry.
Barry, I'm so sorry to hear of your passing. You shared your talent and love of photography with us, and you always gave back such helpful kind responses. Shall be praying comfort for your family and friends. Thank you.
Thank you, Barry, for all the roses you gave us...all the mill ponds and sunsets...all the advice and help. You showed us your strength right up till the end... Rest in peace, my Friend. You will be greatly missed! "There is nothing better for the inside of a man than the outside of a horse." Happy trails forever!
RIP Barry. You will be missed by all you left behind. You fought a good fight. Now you're in a better place.
Gonna miss the roses and super vivid sunsets. Rest in peace. . . .
Barry, your roses made me hope I could get to your level. But alas. Thanks for all your gorgeous photos and rest in peace. I'll remember you for your fabulous photos that I can only hope to shoot.
Your close-up and macro shots always were interesting, and your roses exquisite. After a career as a busted up cowboy, your daily photographs and positive spirit provided motivation to all of us on the yahoo groups. Thanks for everything, rest quietly.
So sorry you left us,we will miss you.
Thank you for your friendhship, Barry, and for your interest in my shots. I will miss your beautiful images. Goodbye, dear friend.
Barry, I'll miss your daily posts, your contributions to the online groups and those luscious roses that became your trademark. But, most of all, I'll miss you. Thanks for the friendship over the past several years. Till we all meet again...
Barry, you've always been a very special "cowboy" to me plus a great shooter. The best of both worlds. One of the biggest gifts you've given all of us on the DSLR group is your undying positive spirit.. So from one cowboy to another...Thank you.
You are gone but not forgotten Barry.... RIP
We sure miss you on the Nikon sites. Always loved your horse and flower photography. You were an inspiration to us for no matter how lousy you felt, you tried to keep taking photos. Rest in peace now...no more aches and pains.
You enriched my life , thank you.
So sorry to hear of Barry's passing, despite him living on the other side of the World I felt I knew him. He was also kind in leaving his comments on my photos. Rest in peace now Barry.

Thank you for visiting my Old Ways gallery and leaving comments. We share the same love and appreciation for Equines. I see that you have done a lot with handicap riding programs. I had a TB that went to a handicapped riding program when she was 20. My Arab is still sound at 15 and doubt she will have a career change for another 10 years, her relatives are quite long living...over 30 on the average...her dam still showed at class A shows in her 30s teaching the little ones showing. Khemosabi was 34 and *Muzzulmanin over 30 before they crossed the Rainbow Bridge.
Thanks for the kindwords on my gallery Tom Merigan

Thank you for the nice comments. Im not a flower expert so I had to phone my friend who owns the allotment garden with the rose. She says its called Rhapsody in blue and she believe its a fairly new sort. I searched a little on the internet and found that it was created in England 1999 by Frank Cowlishaw. Heres some links:
and another one in Swedish:
