As we swing around the Sun, Jupiter is as about as large as it gets.
This long exposure tripod shot is the image as seen straight out
of the camera* using a 800mm F8 Samyang mirror lens.
I checked the position and names of the moons/stars using
the public domain software stellarium http://www.stellarium.org )
Taken at about 10pm, looking North.
Best seen in Original size.
