Front section is removed from the aperture, IS and Zoom barrel mechanism.
Note focus element is now loose inside the front section and will be easily damage or dirtied when extracted. I made numerous marks in order to reassemble in the same location.
A small lever that connects to the zoom barrel had to be removed but it is not shown.
