Thanksgiving 2005 was a fantastic week starting with a precurser camping weekend in Islamorada with Steve and finishing with the rest of the clan, Brother Dave excluded, in Venice.

Starting with Fiesta Key KOA in Islamorada ...
Our expectations were very low finding out that we were heading down at the same time that Hurricane Gamma decided to visit. We were told no lobster were to be had and the fishing was non-existent since Hurricane Wilma a few weeks prior. We ended up having a fabulous time and caught many grouper including some very nice sized Jewfish.

We had everyone over for Thanksgiving dinner (Dad, Mom, Steve/Julie, Alex/Annette/Kendal, Bill, Alice). No one got too sloshed and no fights broke out, kind of a miracle for our kin. Kendal, a new 8 month old addition to the family, was an absolute joy. We even did a little night fishing snagging plenty of snook.

I can't wait until next year.
