One of nature's most beautiful phenomenon, the northern lights are caused by the reaction between solar dust, the magnetic poles and the atmosphere. I was lucky enough to spot this brilliant display of light at 1:10 am, which was the true midnight time in Iceland. The lights only lasted for a few minutes, dancing and changing formations across the sky, but I will remember them for a lifetime.
Part of my gallery on Iceland.
