(Weston Nurseries 2001 description): 'Weston's Lemon Drop' (originally 'Lemon Drop'). Deciduous. Summer flowering. Peach colored buds open to slightly lemony-fragrant pale yellow flowers in July. Upright growing with mildew resistant blue-green foliage that typically turns red-orange in autumn. Selected in 1975 from a block of viscosum 1963 hybrids, probably with bakeri [ed: now cumberlandense] and prunifolium parentage.
