With winds of 37 - 40 mph, we decided to be safe and we did not ride. It turned out to be a good decision! The winds were very strong. We went hiking in Petroglyph National Monument just outside of Albuquerque; we saw tons of petroglyphs on the lava rocks of a hillside. Later, we hiked to the small volcanoes on the other side of the park and we got a very nice view of Albuquerque from there.
