The Cocoon nebula with its dark trunk nebula could be seen in this patch of sky, taken with an SBIG STL11000 and a Canon 400mm/f5.6 stopped down to 7.1. RGB filters were used from Astronomik. Exposure times were 3x10 mins with each filter. Additive exposure time is therefore 90 mins.
