Here you could see my setup in action. The Takahashi FSQ106ED is coupled to the SBIG STL11000 ccd camera. The large Zeiss mount could hold it with required strength and precision... Behind my FSQ you could see the nice Meade 178/1600 refractor from Michael Karrer. It delivers us sharp images for visual astronomy and we took some test shots of various subjects through it at 1600mm focal length.
