The famous galaxy NGC 253 is seen here with the nearby globular cluster NGC 288. Two satellit tracks through the frame. This shot was taken with an SBIG STL11000 and a Takahashi FSQ106ED 530mm/f5 without any converter. RGB filters were used from Astronomik. Exposure times were 3x5 mins with each filter. Additive exposure time is therefore 45 mins .
