This image is a 325 minute exposure of the HelixNebula. It is a stack of 5, 5 minute sub frames combined using Images Plus. Digital development processing was used to stretch the image and the multi-spectral smoothing was used to reduce the noise. Post processing includes layered star size reduction, background correction and some additional noise reduction. All post processing done in Paint Shop Pro.
