This interesting double halo showed up around the Moon due to some high cirus cloud that caused the inner halo by scattering some of the reflected light. The cloud is faintly visible throughout the image.

The image is a stack of 10 images assembled in Paint Shop Pro. The stars were split out to a separate layer so they could be brightened and their colour enhanced.
