The eyes of the motorsport world fell on New Zealand when we welcomed the biggest ever gathering of iconic historic and classic racing cars in this country for the double-head NZ Festival of Motor Racing which took place over consecutive weekends at Hampton Downs and Pukekohe.


There were classic and historic racing cars, sports cars and saloon cars from New Zealand, Australia, United States of America, UK, Netherlands, Denmark, Belgium, and Germany.

The Festival embraced the romantic time capsule that covered the 1940s through to the swinging 1960s.
