I did one photo even closer in using a extension tube, but while diddling with the tilt to maximize dof, I noticed a small but perfect snail, with antennae fully extended, trekking into one of the other lilies
though I tried, I couldn't get the shot off, before the snail slipped deep into the neck of the flower
even snails are a bit too fast moving for this otherwise exemplary macro lens ;-)
