as luck had it, the meeting that brought me to New Orleans was held during Navy Week
ships from the French, British & Canadian joined 3 from the US in a celebration of New Orleans' key role in the War of 1812
of course the Brits & Canadians were the opposition, but in New Orleans bygones are bygones
I just turned to catch these lovely sailors & did not get them quite as sharp as they were
