this is the SOOC conversion of the original capture in NX2
it has only been resized for the internet
there is some vignetting, to be expected using such a long lens with a 30 mm extension, but little other decrease in IQ ...remarkably I believe the vignetting is less with wider apertures than with smaller ones
the loss of light is well compensated by the excellent performance of the D3X at higher ISOs
