Michelle and I had a great time birding Texas during the summer of 2004. We spotted well over 200 species of birds and added about 50 new birds to our ABA (American Birding Association) list. Highlight birds from the trip included Muscovy Duck, Wood Stork, Black-headed Nightingale-Thrush, Groove-billed Ani, Yellow-green Vireo, Black-capped Vireo, Colima Warbler, Blue Mockingbird, White-collared Seedeater, Brown Jays, Golden-cheeked Warbler, Common Black-hawk, Clay-colored Robin, Altimira Oriole, and many others.
