Chazzy and I decided to check out Miller Welch WMA and Reba Lake at Richmond, KY this afternoon. The weather was prefect and the birding not too bad. At the WMA we watched a trio of Red-tails circling above us and got good looks at several of the regular species in the area. At Reba Lake, there was only a small section of the lake which had open water and this concentrated a nice selection of water birds closer to shore and allowed for some nice scope looks. The group included C. Goldeneye, Shovelers, Ruddies, Ring-necks, Mallards, Redheads, Wood Ducks, Wigeons, Coots, and several hundred Canada Geese.
