What is there to say about 'Jaimes' that hasn't already been said? I'm so sad as I read the comments below, it hurts. For those of us who've been so blessed to have Jaime in our lives, we will continue to have her live through us...and there's a lot of us around that loved her, so there's a lot of Jaime still around. That smile, that oh so unique sense of humor, that down-to-earthedness that no other Pilot quite possessed at Aloha Airlines, that willingness to stay late and help with the Explorers Program, the ability to make light of serious topics, that love she held in her heart for Mark and now baby Malia. I'm almost ashamed to not have been a better friend to Jaime while she was in my life. It's in reflection that I truly understand what a special woman Jaime was to me. I miss you already Jaimes. My deepest condolences goes out to the Wagatsuma/Shiroma Family. No one will every replace Jaime. She was truly "one of a kind". I have so many memories with her from lunch dates, to e-mails, to a game of truth or dare, and our endless explorer "pranks". She has inspired me and lots of other people to better ourselves and to make the most out of life. I would not have been where I am at today without her influence in my life. Know that Jaime touched lives of keiki in the schools. She came to speak to my class of 6th graders several years ago at Wailupe Valley Elementary. She was a role model for a project in my class called "Gutsy Girls". Jaime truly was that. The women that came to speak to my class were examples of who they could become and by hearing Jaime's story of her journey to becoming a pilot, I'm sure inspired these impressionable young girls. She leaves an imprint that that will not be forgotten. Her life has and will make a difference to a youngster who heard her story.

Aloha Jamie, I'm Aaron Chun one of the ramp boys who is also fighting for my life too. If you are wondering who I am my page is the first one on this site or to the left of your site. So I just wanted to say NEVER EVER GIVE UP, NEVER! Of course we have our bad days when feel like just giving up but don't, Trust me there were so many days in the last 7 months that i wanted to give up but you know what, we give up and we let God win. My thinking to all of this, is that God only gives special individuals these hurddles in life because God knoes that we are strong enough to beat it. Next week I go in for brain surgery, and you can bet your ass that God isn't gonna win, even though the odds are against me. Well, I wish you a very speedy recovery and hope to see you in that second seat soon and it'll be my honor to pushback your first flight when you get back. Jamie and ohana, hang in there, its gonna be rough but things we get better in no time. Just believe in the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit will guide you through this big hurddle in life. And remember you have the entire Aloha Airlines staff praying for a speedy recovery also. God Bless
