As a challenge for myself, I decided to see if I could travel around Ireland and come up with 2 images in each of the 32 counties in a calendar year. Setting a time limit for anything is always a challenge in itself and so it proved in this case. Apart from all the normal commitments that slowed me down, the weather certainly wasn't a great help much of the time. In the end the images were compiled over a period of 2 years and having started the project I was determined to finish it no matter what. For a small country we are blessed with many wonderful places and every county has it's interesting features. Those representing each county here are not necessarily the most famous sights to be seen in that county (although some are) but merely what was most photogenic at the time I was there. Hope you enjoy looking at this Circuit of Ireland. The journey begins in the north west of the country with Sligo and Donegal and then progresses in an anticlockwise direction.
