I had the chance to visit both the Euston Castle at Bonham Road and Eucliffe at Repulse Bay as a summer intern of the Antiquities and Monuments Office, working on a project documenting history of old buildings that might soon face the fate of demolition due to redevelopment back in the summer of 1979!

The last post sure jogged the memory.I also now remember playing in the empty building all the time as a young kid as we lived just up the road for years.Been through every inch of the place hundreds of times.

That was Eusto castle, I believe there were three castles like that, they belonged to the Eu family I think, and there was one at Repulse bay..all gone now. family was Eu Tong Sen. Played in the empty building as a kid before they ripped it down.. hehehehehhe ran away from the indian security guard...
