Great picture. Can partly see Borrett Mansions, where we lived on mid levels. Also both part of "Old Island School" (Ex BMH) and the "New Island School". To the left of the picture just to the right of the white rectangle, which is possible City Hall?
Somebody elsewhere on this site mentioned that the Old Island School (BMH) is no longer there. If so, it must have been demolished fairly recently, as it is still visible on Google earth, albeit minus the small wing that used to house the school sweetshot, which was demolished when they were constructing the new school on the hill above.
Spent many hours getting up to mischeif in the deserted old building after the school had moved to the new building. A friend (called Mark Wood, I recall) was playing on the roof and fell through a skilight and broak his leg.
