Sparrows raising their young

Tree sparrows raising their young in our garden. I'm glad to have two of their favourite sleeping trees and their favourite meeting place plus some of their best hiding places in my garden, so we're blessed with a flock of about 30 or 40 tree sparrows.
The young birds were around for maybe one or two weeks until they gradually learned to find their own food. The parents had one or some even two more batches of pestering cuties and then they all took off to roam the fields. They are coming back to the houses now (end of September) to get ready for winter. This has been a good year, I haven't seen a runt or a sick one, and even the parents looked healthy and relatively well-fed after raising their children. Hard to believe when I look back at how much work that must have been!
