This was our favorite hot springs. The water in the far right is the ocean and the site has been protected by that pile of boulders from which I took this shot. There is so much hot water that not only our buildings heated with it, but the hostel we stayed at in Reykjavik used hot spring water for the hot supply in the plumbing! Their greenhouse emissions just might be the lowest in the developed world??
