Istanbul

Some piccies from Rob's trip to Istanbul in mid-June. These were taken in between meetings over a 3-day period, and include shots of the Grand Bazaar, the Bosphorus and the Blue Mosque as well as some street scenes around the mouth of the Golden Horn. All shot with a Nikon EM 35mm camera using 35mm/F2 and 135mm/F2.8 lenses on Kodak TMAX-400 black and white film (developed and scanned at home).

What an enchanting gallery of Istanbul. The choice of B & W has helped to bring out the blend of old and new that exists in Turkey. Beautiful shots and good presentation as well. I particularly liked the "serious conversation" and the one from the restaurant below the bridge from where you can see the mosque.
