****This works beautifully because of how the man seems to engulf Echo--she seems transfixed, overwhelmed. His ears are enormous and seem to be listening to each breath she takes. He is consuming Echo, yet she does not move. A shocking and thought provoking image.

To answer your question, Echo, don't worry about trying to understand the meaning of that picture you are looking at. Instead, just feel the picture. Did you feel overwhelmed? Invaded? Pressured? By making you think about your feelings, that photograph is working as an expressive image.

Before I enlarged the image, it looked like the model in the phot had his hands clasped together in prayer. Wonderful image.
