The tones are beautiful, the long shadows on the trees and the variation in the misty clouds.

Right, the filter made it possible to capture much of what I was seeing. I had driven up
to the higher points and saw white trees and when I came back, was stunned to see
the snow showing on the big rock tops. Just love that! Coloring was so gorgeous!

And I do like being able to see the change between the normal view of the tops and
what I saw when I returned from driving, thinking the show might be over by then, but no...
