In a Lonely Place

The title of this photo is also the title of a book of photos by Gregory Crewdson which is on the table.
I was recently reminded of Crewdson's work in an image posted by fellow PBaser Don Mottershead.

Great shot of this lonely room! Love the lines and colours. ~V~
(Glad to hear that you are re-enjoying Crewdson. The "In a Lonely Place" image looks like it might be the same one used on the cover of "Beneath the Roses." Does it feature a car with headlights on and two people inside?)

A great shot and great location. A library. A dying place. Sadly. And you captured that.

Thanks for the reminder about Crewdson, Walter. I hadn't thought about him for a while. This image is a wonderful interpretation of the title, although one is never really lonely in the presence of books. V

Very clinical/sterile photo but I love it.
