The New Palas

Behind the 13th Century outer wall the 16th Century new Palas (Living Building)can be seen.
The roof with the pointed tower and dormers probably dates from the 17th Century and is typical for this era.
More expansive views were impossible to achieve as I was standing on the edge of steep hill which was a further mode of a defense for the castle.
