In the center the five sided defense tower dating from the 13th Century.
The tower used to have an archway leading into the inner court. Its outlines can still be seen on the left.
The entrance was moved to the tower gate to the left at the end of the 16th Century.
Originally there would have been a drawbridge over the castle moat, but there is now a stone bridge in its place.
The moat has been emptied and is now partially filled with earth.
