Wind Driven Machine

The Chilean Navy Training Ship B.E. Esmeralda.
I had the fortune to board this ship three times during her visit here.

I saw the Esmeralda when it came into the port in Auckland in the 1960's. It was a Chilean training sailing ship then. I went on board it too - I worked for the Auckland Harbour Board then Good shot of it Walter
