Soaring

I went to La Jolla Cove this morning and because I got a late start I thought there would not be many Pelicans about.
It turned out I was wrong and hundreds flew by mostly in groups, some as large as forty birds. These two were in a larger formation.
Photographing Pelicans in flight takes patience and practice and the "Luck" factor ranks high.
