The Messiah truly did come, and while it took some 300 plus years, Rome was indeed conquered by Jesus, and 2000 years on, his conquest is total and complete and in large part could be said to be responsible for keeping Rome the eternal city all these years, the Huns and the fall of the Empire, through dark ages, though eclipse by city states and even disdain by northern and southern regions. The glory of the Vatican is testament to this.
