In regards to location, landscape photography is like real estate. It means everything. I admire people who can do fantastic work without ever leaving their locale but I cannot do that. I enjoy the experience of a location even more than I enjoy the photography itself. In exceptional circumstances I can find myself putting down the camera and taking the photo with my mind. Those are my most treasured shots.
