At the harbour mouth, Polperro.
The large Grade II listed building is the old Net Loft, built in the early nineteenth century on the site of a medieval fishermen's chapel. Previously used by fishermen to store boat sails and equipment, and to dry out their nets, although originally it was a boat building workshop. After having been abandoned for some years it is now owned and has recently been sensitively restored by the National Trust. It will now serve as a community hall.
