Erected on Borough High Street in 1922, it was dismantled in 2014 so that the foundations could be rebuilt, and has just been restored and rededicated. It shows a soldier tramping through the mud of World War I, while reliefs on each side show a biplane dogfight and a naval battle. A weeping wife and mother decorate the reverse.
