A slight change of style from the usual for today's PotD. I couldn't quite achieve the angle I'd have liked because I left the quick release plate for the tripod at home, doh! Converted and colour toned using Fred Miranda's BW Workflow Pro.

I think the American word for this is AWESOME! It certainly has been a day of contrasts in England today (mostly wet ones). Like Jeanne, I'd like to see more like this.

I like this change of style for you Ian. Great big sky, very cool. You should take more photos outside, this is great. Reminds me of the fields up in Napa (that's where the good wines come from!)

A wonderful image Ian. You can keep doing these! I forget the quick release plate too! Might as well have forgotton the tripod.
